This is a genuine translucent opal necklace with 14k solid gold hardware. Each opal is micro-faceted to emphasize its unique reflection of colors; ranging from yellow and orange to pink, blue and purple. The opals are Grade A and mined primarily in the Wollo and Shewa regions of Ethiopia. 

Necklace measures 16" with a 1" extender. Hardware is 14K gold. Opal beads are 4mm. String on stainless steel wire for durability and flexibility. 

MATERIALS

Opal 
Opal has a hardness from 5-6.5 and should be handled general with care for long lasting wear. Keep out of water and away from chemicals like perfume and hairspray. Extreme changes in temperature have been known to create cracks in opals.
